The horrors of war told from a Syrian girl's experience. This short read is mostly beautiful illustrations with a powerful ending.

A group of undocumented Mexican immigrants grinds six days a week and plays soccer the seventh, until a self-centered boss gets in the way. A look at the rigorous lives of many immigrants and the importance of standing up for yourself, complete with some funny moments.
Slim Pickins' in March, but...
Why Art? is a whimsical little graphic novel worth a read. It's a work of art itself and answers "why art?" without sounding like a snobby critic.
